Space Tracer

Move with the arrow keys. Press and hold Z to cut out an area around enemy space ships, any enemies inside the cutout will die when you let go of Z. Score increases with time and you get a bonus for every enemy you kill.

(If your cut out intersects itself, it doesn't count)

Limitations chosen:

• Resolution: 160x144 (gameboy)
• Color: 2 bit (gameboy palette)
• Sounds: 4 channels
• Input: directional + 1 button
• Filesize: <= 32kb

Filesize limit was achieved shortly after the jam deadline by absolutely slaughtering the codebase.
